Reliability of Butyl, Lighweighting of TPU

We believe that in the over pusuit of lightweighting, current TPU inner tubes have sacrified too much reliability.

Stories of slow leaks, random failures are all too common.

That is why we have made our TPU inner tubes 50% thicker than typical TPU inner tubes, and comparable with race butyl tubes.

Super light and super space saving

Weighing at just 45 grams for the the Road tube and 60 grams for the Gravel tube, it is still 1/3 of the weight and size footprint of typical butyl inner tubes. It is the most cost effective way to reduce the weight of your bike and also frees up room in your cycling wallet and/or saddle bag so you can be as compact and minimal as possible.

No compromising on essentials

Typical TPU inner tubes use resin valves that are prone to failure, and melt when used with electric mini pumps.

Our TPU inner tubes use aluminium valves that are robust and built to last.

Use electric mini pumps with peace of mind it will not damage your inner tube. It is 100% compatible with the Craft Cadence Electric Mini Pump.

Repairable and reinforceable

Typical TPU inner tubes have irremovable valve cores that are often the cause of slow leaks and can't be replaced.

Craft Cadence TPU inner tubes have removable valve cores, which can be opened using the included valve core removal tool that doubles as the valve cap.

Replace/repair your valve core as required. Apply inner tube sealant to automatically patch up punctures as they happen.

Craft Cadence TPU inner tubes are compatible with the following inner tube sealants (not included, purchased separately):

- Muc-off inner tube sealant

- Oko Puncture free sealant

Thought Through Valve end

The area where the valve connects the tube is the source of many slow leaks in typical TPU inner tubes.

We have reinforced this area with a raised 'cap' to reduce the risk of punctures in this area.
